Amirreza Amighi, PhD., President of MazLite Inc.

For more than 15 years, Dr. Amirreza Amighi has studied industrially relevant sprays. Through his extensive research at the University of Toronto, Dr. Amighi is an expert who has published papers on spray formation, electrospray, spray visualization, and high temperature and pressure sprays. He has collaborated with both research laboratories and industrial manufacturers to help them understand and optimize their spray processes. Dr. Amighi is the Co-founder and CEO of MazLite – a company dedicated to spray optimization. Using innovative monitoring and real-time analytics, MazLite’s technology enhances spray quantification directly on the plant floor for its industry partners.

He will talk about three different areas:

1) Spray formation
2) Effect of droplet size on various aspect of paint
3) Instrumentation with demo
